After a devious ambush on their way to the ramshackle mining settlement of Nu’meen the troupe searched a complex of caves and encountered what seemed to have been a secret hiding-place for a now dead Jedi which name is long forgotten. Within the dark of the caves lured a feral beast who threatened the Heroes whom sneaked through the darkness and managed to scavenge enough spares to repair their blaster damaged speeder.
As they arrived at Nu’meen, the troupe encountered a village of suspicious, yet grateful Twi’leks who populated and operated the Ryll-mine and at the end of the night, a small group of villains from (Insert bad-guys name here) camp came around and after destroying a vaporizer shack, tried to coerce access to the speeder. Ithan wouldn’t have any of that antics and confronted the bullies and after a brief encounter ending up with four disabled gangsters the troupe now prepared to attack the complex controlled by (Insert Bad Guy’s name here). As Bana, Captain Jerikko and Ithan loaded up the speeder, Lionel addressed the population of the shanty town with the following speech…
Friends of Ryloth..
You may not know me, and probably you all wonder why you should pay me any attention. I claim not to be anybody whom you should put the fate of your future in, in fact, me and my companions will leave you shortly. We may, or we may not return, but no matter what the end result may be, I need you to listen and heed what I have to say.
For long, all Twi’leks of Ryloth has been used and abused by those who wish you harm. May it be those who wish to enslave your bodies for pleasure or those who seek to enslave your planet for its resources – This has to stop!
The only ones who can actually make a difference right here, and right now are you.
You and the person standing next to you, take a long good look and recognize the face of each other and gather together and think of what you have been through, remember your own childhood. Think of those who has come before you, your ancestors, your heritage.
You cannot let foreign powers claim your land, you cannot accept the influence of unscrupulous Hutts or other elements impose on what is yours – you have your birthright here at Ryloth!
Defend it, you cannot rely on others to do it for you!
I never strive for violence, but if it happens – I will defend myself, just as that, I ask you… No I urge you… (a pause of effect) No! I actually beg of you to do it. Do not accept being trampled upon by those who wish you NOTHING but misery and seek to drain your planet from what is valuable to you, may it be the resources in the ground or the blood of your kin.
(A theatrical lowering of Lionel’s eyes and his clenched fists opens in an invitation to the crowd to take his hands)
Please… If not for yourself.. (A smile to the little Twi’lek girl who gave him the doll) Protect your families and offspring.
